How to work a leopard print boot

Hey yo, funky mama..

Riccardo Banfi leopard print boots, $270 (from $540)

I tried to make Creme Caramel once. It turned out horrid, a sticky puddle of yolky, burnt sugar. It’s one of those things that either turns out absolutely delightful or disgustingly bad.

Leopard print can be like that. When it’s done right, it makes a girl look like the epitome of style. But I hardly need to lay out the terrors of leopard gone wrong.

Thankfully, it’s pretty difficult to achieve the latter with a boot like this Riccardo Banfi number in a classic shape. Pair it with a neutral, tailored ensemble to let the shoe make the statement, and add a punch of colour with a cute bag. You can’t go wrong! Now somebody show me how to get that Creme Caramel right…
